Amerex participates in the Madrifood cluster’s meeting on Health, Food Safety and Quality
On 11 February 2025, Amerex took part in the Working Table on ‘Health, Food Safety and Quality’, organised by the agri-food cluster Madrifood.
This meeting brought together companies, research centres and entities from the sector to discuss and collaborate on the main challenges and opportunities related to health and quality in food production.
On behalf of Amerex, Alejandro Rodríguez, Technical Director, shared the company’s experience and approach in the development of technological solutions based on natural ingredients, highlighting their contribution to improving food safety and nutrition from a sustainable perspective.
The conference focused on identifying common priorities and fostering synergies between the different actors in the Madrid food ecosystem, with the aim of promoting collaborative projects that generate a real impact on public health and innovation in the sector.
At Amerex we have experience in participating, both alone and as part of consortia, in both national and international funded projects. Currently our research lines are focused on 3 strategic pillars:
- NEW FERMENTS
- ALTERNATIVE PRESERVATION
- HEALTH AND NUTRITION
Participation in this type of event is an example of Amerex’s commitment to active collaboration in sectoral platforms and the promotion of projects that seek safer, healthier and more responsible food models.
